About Me

Hello! I am David Keeney, an aspiring game developer looking to make my mark in the video game industry through Production, Project Management, and QA.

I am a current student at SDSU, graduating in May 2024. I also spent 6 years in the military as an Integrated Avionics Specialist, leading small teams to rectify malfunctions on the F-15 fighter jet, overseas and domestically.

I aspire to contribute my creativity and hard work to the videogame industry to inspire and create a passion as strong as mine. A personal goal of mine is to acquire my PMP successfully before the end of the year. I want to demonstrate the project management skills I attained in the military to actual actionable certification. Professionally, I would like to demonstrate my capabilities and contribute to a studio that values my hard work and dedication. I want to gain experience and learn from the best to bring my personal brand of creativity and loyalty to a project I’m passionate about.

I love character-driven narratives and creative and deep environments that allow my imagination and curiosity to thrive. I am a jack of all trades when it comes to my experience with video games. I have put an incredible amount of hours into shooters like Call of Duty, Splitgate, Destiny, Battlefield, Overwatch, Borderlands, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and the Halo Series. I am also a purveyor of RPGs, including almost all the Final Fantasy series, Mass Effect, Kingdom Hearts, every Pokemon game, the Persona Series, and The Witcher 3. Every genre is fascinating to me, and I have experience in them, including Action games, Action RPGs, roguelikes, dating sims, experimental, indie games, MMORPGs, strategy games, and live service games. I will use my extensive knowledge to contribute a unique and knowledgeable perspective to the project I’m working on with my experience in the genres and my passion for video games as a whole.
